Stone Circle, Callanish is a landscape format photograph in black and white and shows a series of ancient standing stones. These megaliths vary in height and shape, some tall and slender, others shorter and more irregular. The surface of the stones is rough and textured, some with visible grooves or patterns eroded into them. The stones are situated on ground that appears grassy and uneven. The sky above the stones is streaky, with fast-moving clouds indicating a windy environment or a long exposure shot. There is a horizon in the distance, but no buildings or trees are visible and show a bare and rugged landscape. Rangitoto Echo is a black and white photograph featuring a landscape. In the foreground, there are textured rocks with visible cracks and smooth surfaces. The middle ground consists of a body of water that appears soft and mist-like, likely due to a long exposure time. This effect makes the water's surface look calm and almost cloud-like. In the background, there is an island or a landmass with a mountain or hill somewhat centered in the composition, under a sky that has a gradient of light, giving the impression of streaming clouds or a long exposure effect. The overall mood of the image is serene and ethereal, with a contrast between the sharp details of the rocks in the foreground and the softness of the water and sky. Photographed on Canon 5D MkII with 10 Stop ND Filter- processed for black and white from digital raw in Adobe Lightroom 301 sec @ f / 16, ISO 100

Whangamata Pink - Colour portrait format photograph showing a serene seascape during what appears to be either sunset or sunrise. The sky is adorned with hues of soft peach, pink, and a gradient that introduces a light blue at the upper part of the image. These pastel colours are gently reflected onto the smooth surface of the water, creating a tranquil ambiance. The horizon line is slightly off-center, dividing the image almost equally between sky and water. In the lower right-third of the image, a landmass with a rugged coastline juts out into the sea, topped with a dark silhouette of foliage or trees. Near the centre of the horizon line, there is a small, isolated rock formation rising above the water's surface. The water is extremely calm, creating a glass-like texture due to the long exposure used in the photograph.
