My name is Al and I’m a photographer and visual artist from Scotland now living in Aotearoa, New Zealand. After studying drawing and painting, my creative practice has developed over the years to embrace photography, visual arts, printmaking, collage and animated film. My work draws on landscape and explores themes around being and place. Creatively though, just about anything goes and I enjoy following multiple threads at once to continually experiment with a variety of artistic approaches.
