Singularity

SHIFT brings together altered photographic works shaped through glitch, distortion, montage, overlay, multiple exposure and digital reconstruction.

The works begin with observed places, journeys, archives and everyday fragments, but their photographic sources are transformed rather than simply documented. Streets, landscapes, urban edges, rail routes and remembered locations are compressed, fractured, layered or reassembled until documentary traces open into stranger forms.

These images remain tied to their sources while moving away from a fixed record. They move between landscape, street, memory, abstraction and apparition, with photography becoming a means of reconstruction and altered recognition.
